The New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH) is a dynamic non-profit coalition of 175 labor unions, 300 health, legal and safety and health professionals and safety and health activists who are dedicated to workplace health and safety. NYCOSH provides training and technical assistance about workplace safety and health hazards to its membership, community organizations and the public at large. We are seeking an Executive Director committed to our mission of preventing workplace illnesses and injuries. Overview of position The NYCOSH Executive Director provides overall direction, management and leadership to the organization. S/he represents the organization to the outside world and is responsible for securing political, public and financial support. The Executive Director envisions and directs its public policy, fundraising and educational work. He/she is responsible to the Board of Directors which sets policy for the organization.
