At its 2019 annual meeting, UALE decided to move to a biennial conference schedule. In the off-years, the organization will hold regional gatherings in each of the four US regions (Northeast, South, Midwest and West) and in Canada.

2020 will be the first year in which we pilot the regional meetings plan. 2021 will once again see a national conference. It is scheduled to take place from May 18-21, 2021, at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
