Some Background
In 2003, the UC Berkeley Labor Center published a "Report on the State of Labor Education in the United States", by UALE members Barbara Byrd (University of Oregon) and Bruce Nissen (Florida International University.) Update 9/22/2014
Here's an update on what I've been doing.
1) Four summaries of surveys. The surveys are by Byrd and Nissen (2003), myself (2010), Bussel (2014) and Gereluk (2003). The Gereluk one is Canadian.
Summary - Byrd and Nissen
Summary- Worthen 2010
Summary - Bussel 2014
Summary - Gereluk
2) One very preliminary attempt to see if we already have some numbers that can be mashed around to give us any ideas. The answer is yes, although none of the surveys asked the same questions and they didn't all cover the same programs.

This has all basically been homework: figuring out what is out there and what phone calls to start making.
