Industrial Engineering focus The School for Workers is the oldest university-based labor education program in the United States, founded in 1925. Part of the Division of Continuing Education, Outreach and Electronic Learning in the University of Wisconsin-Extension, the offices of the School are located in Madison, Wisconsin. Consistently ranking among the most livable cities in America, Madison is an ethnically and culturally diverse city of over 200,000 known for a lively arts scene, Big Ten athletics, excellent outdoor opportunities and a world-class university This is a full-time, twelve-month, tenure track appointment. Appointment as Assistant Professor requires possession of a Masters or Doctorate degree. For this position, candidates also must have earned at least a Baccalaureate degree in Industrial Engineering or Technology along with an advanced degree in a field related to labor education, such as industrial relations, adult education, work organization, workforce development, human resources management, economics, sociology, or similar discipline.
