The Midwest Academy is hiring a Trainer/Consultant, and we need your help in finding the right person. The job description with full details is attached, but the short version is: We need a strong, experienced organizer, with good progressive values, and good leadership development skills. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our team to help train the next generation of strategic progressive organizers, and work with their organizations to build the infrastructure to fight for justice. Training experience is good, but solid organizing experience is more essential. Ideally, this person will have at least ten years of experience in the field (some mix of community organizing, issue organizing, labor organizing), and be willing to locate in Chicago. We would love someone who is fluent in Spanish, and has supervisory experience.
