Students, labor educators or scholars new to their fields, or emerging researchers are welcome to submit a paper to the UALE Executive Board for consideration.
Veteran labor educators and scholars: Please help us identify and encourage newer colleagues to submit papers. Actively reach out to anyone you think is a good candidate for this award including students, activist, interns, researchers and staffers. Authors do not have to be UALE members. Their paper does not have to be written specifically for this competition.

Those selected will be notified by January 11th, 2016 and should plan on attending the UALE conference April 12th - 15th, 2016 in Washington, D.C. Authors chosen to present will receive free registration to the conference and some lodging subsidy. Travel will be paid by the author.
